Casey Pearlman - Executive Director, Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians Economic Development Corporation
Casey Pearlman, Inupiaq and mixed settler descent, is the Executive Director of ATNI-EDC. She is an alum of the Rematriating Economies Apprenticeship, the Treasurer of the board for Underscore News and a board member-at-large for the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Business Management and Human Resource Management and an Associates in International Business earned while studying abroad in Salzburg, Austria. She is passionate about working with business owners from diverse backgrounds with a particular interest in emerging industries.
She identifies as an ‘entrepreneur enthusiast’ and is thrilled to serve Native businesses and support their growth. Some of her proudest achievements during her first two years at ATNI-EDC have been supporting the growth of the organization’s SSBCI program, producing two NW Native Economic Summits and NW Native Fashion Shows, hosting two NW Native CDFI Summit receptions and building the programming of the Northwest Native Lending Network. She enjoys working on teams and on projects that promote celebration and community to build wealth and empowerment from within.
