Brian Kirk is an enrolled tribal member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. Mr. Kirk developed an early passion in Native American relations and the quality of health in Native American communities. He joined Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma in 2016 after he graduate from Louisiana State University School of Allied Health Professions with his Master of Public Health.

Currently, Mr. Kirk is the Executive Affairs Director of Pawnee Nation. He currently works along with the Executive Director and Pawnee Business Council to develop methodologies to strengthen our government as well as developing strategies to diversify the economy.

During his tenure, him and his team has accumulated over $25+ millions of dollars in funding from expanding Pawnee Nation’s first community children park, 2 large scale industrial greenhouses, a multi-million-dollar Behavioral Health Center to most recently constructing the first emergency Helipad in the City of Pawnee. He is interested in new economic development opportunities while developing new strategies to increase social services to tribal members and upsurge sustainability in rural Oklahoma. Brian is currently working on a 600-acre solar panel feasibility study for the Nation, assisting on the development their broadband infrastructure, and finalizing the construction of the first state certified treatment facility in Oklahoma.

Being in an economically distressed community. Brian’s passion is directly aimed to strengthen the community while providing that needed hope within the community. He continues to work with the Executive Team and with the Pawnee Business Council. Working with the Council, he helped secure their self-governance status with IHS and BIA. He is a graduate class member of 2021 of the Leadership Native Oklahoma and newly elected Tribal Employment Right Office (TERO) Commissioner.
