Linnea Jackson - General Manager, Hoopa Valley Public Utilities District (HVPUD)
Linnea Jackson is a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe in Northern California. Ms. Jackson serves as General Manager for the Hoopa Valley Public Utilities District (HVPUD).
HVPUD manages the reservation’s domestic and irrigation water, solid waste management, broadband, and energy projects. HVPUD was chartered 40 years ago, but the broadband division was established in 2020 to address the long-standing lack of connectivity within the reservation. Ms. Jackson’s goals are to provide a high level of utility services that enable and advance tribal strategies to grow economic opportunity, build a strong foundation of utility infrastructure, and ensure a framework for quality growth and development on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation for our tribal people.
